How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Longview Towing Mirrors on our 2022 Chevy Colorado. Adding towing mirrors to your truck is gonna allow you to get additional visibility and increase your safety when you're going down the road. The Longview, they actually just snap and hook onto the side of your mirror, and it's gonna basically give you a good amount of space to increase your visibility. Now, what you're adding to your mirror, you're right about a foot overall. As far as the mirror surface itself, you're right little bit over 5 1/2 inches wide. As far as the height on it, right at about 4 1/2 inches. more

Now, adding towing mirrors to your vehicle is gonna allow you to get a better perspective of what's going on behind you when you're towing a trailer. Just gives you a better view of the road by adding an additional mirror, so you can extend your field of vision. Overall, what you're adding to the vehicle, well, to the mirror, you're right here at the top, about 11 and a half inches. Overall, a little bit shorter, 13. Your mirror itself is right at a little bit under six at the widest point. more

CIPA Clamp On Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today on our 2010 Chevrolet Traverse we'll be doing a test fit on the Cipa Universal Bar Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees and can be adjusted to any angle. It can also be extended out to further suit our towing needs. We simply undo the nut up here, on top, bring it out, and then tighten it back down. more

CIPA Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2010 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Today, on our 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up, while towing a trailer. The mirror can be rotated 360 degrees, and can be positioned at any angle we choose. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror, though we won't be able to rotate it all the way in as the arm will come in contact with the trim. The mirror measures 7 1/2 inches long by 5 inches wide. Now, it comes in a quantity of 1, so if you'd like to pick up a second one for the other side, just use the same part number. I'm here at the passenger side of my Traverse, and to begin our test fit, we need to make sure that our arms are opened up, ready to receive the housing. We also, when we clip it on, we want to make sure that each one of these clips is on the inside of the housing. more

Cipa Slip On Custom Towing Mirrors Review - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be doing a test fit of the Cipa custom auto towing mirrors. Part number is CM10950. Now this is going to be for both the driver and the passenger side. It's available as just the driver side - part number on that is CM10951 - and as just the passenger side as part number CM10952. CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab we're going to be doing a test fit of the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors in a slip on design for both the driver and the passenger side, part number CM10900. The CIPA custom towing mirrors are available to be purchased individually as well. For the driver side it's part number 10901. For the passenger side it's part number 10902. If your factory mirror looks like this, then this CIPA Custom Towing Mirror is correct for you. Before we install our mirror on our factory mirror it's a good idea to clean and dirt and debris off of the back side of the mirror that may be present. This will help keep the factory mirror from getting scratches on it from dirt rubbing between the factory mirror and the CIPA custom towing mirror. Next let's go over a couple items on our CIPA custom mirror. more

K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2009 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab, we're going to be doing a test fit as well as a quick installation of the K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors in a snap-on design for both the driver and the passenger side. Part number KS80900. Now here's what our K-Source towing mirrors look like installed on a vehicle. We've already gone ahead and installed one over here on the passenger side just so you could see what it'll look like. Now that you see what they look like installed on the vehicle, let's go ahead and move over to the driver's side. We'll show you how to put them on. Now before we begin our installation of the mirror, it's a good idea to take a wet paper towel and to clean off any dirt and debris that may be on the back side of the mirror here. This will keep the towing mirror and the factory mirror from rubbing against each other with that debris in there and potentially scratching the factory mirror. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 11953- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab we're going to be test fitting the Cipa Dual View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. This does feature an aerodynamic enclosed head that's going to help reduce vibration as you travel. It installs pretty quickly, no tools are required. It's going to work on most seven inch to ten inch tall mirrors. The mirror's going to give us an overall length of fourteen and a half inches. The mirror itself measures seven inches by five and a half inches. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, we're going to be test fitting the K-Source Universal Strap On Towing Mirror, part number Ks3891. This is designed to fit both driver and passenger's side using the same mirror, so let's go ahead and put it here on our passenger's side. It comes with the mirror and we've got 2 different straps. To begin our test fit, we're just going to go ahead and place our adjustable portion -it adjusts in two different areas, up here at the housing. You can see how the arms adjust different directions and then right here where the arms connect, those are going to pivot as well to make this a universal fit. So we'll go ahead and make sure that our clamps are in their appropriate position. With our clamps in the appropriate position, we'll go ahead and place them around our mirror. more

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Express Van- Video
Today, on our 2011 Chevrolet Express Van, were going to do a test fit of part number LVT-1700. This is a Longview Towing Mirror. To do our test fits going to be very simple. Well take the mirror and slide it onto the original factory mirror. Well make sure that the hook fastens onto the end of the factory mirror, and the threader part goes through the loop thats at the end of the Longview mirror.Well squeeze the two together to run the threads through the loop, and then well install the knob. Well give the knob a few turns, to make sure its straight, then tighten it down for good. more

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Suburban- Video
Today on the 2011 Chevrolet Suburban were going to test fit part number 10901 and then 10902 from Cipa. This is their custom towing mirror. To start off our test fit were going to go ahead and take our mirror and slide it over the factory mirror. You can see how the new Cipa mirror wraps around the edges of the factory mirror if you slide it on. Now well slide it on 3/4 away and then well go ahead and take our wedge thatll help secure the mirror and slide it in place into the track thats inside of the mirror. Well slide all together and then well install the knob and then well go ahead and tighten it down. more

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2011 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
Today on our 2011 Chevy Silverado, we are going to install the Cipa Custom Towing Mirror. We are going to install the custom towing mirror on the left hand side part number 10901. We're also going to repeat this same process on the right hand side, part number 10902. We first need to place the foam pads in two peices. Our first is the wedge, and the second is inside the body of the mirror. With that done, we can slip it on over the manufacturer's mirror.Once we have slipped the mirror in place, go and take our wedge and slip it in the back. more

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror Installation - 2004 Chevrolet Silverado- Video
We are going to be showing this installed on a 2004 Chevy Pickup Full Size. We will show you how it goes on, it is a pretty simple device. Before we begin our install what we need to do is two things, first off it is a good idea to clean off the mirror. This is so when you push the extension on the vehicle it does not push the dirt into the mirror and possibly ruin your finish. After that we need to assemble the mirror itself. That requires putting a felt pad on the wedge that you see off to the right hand side. Once we have that, we can go ahead and install the mirror. This does not have to be perfect because this is actually all going to be on the inside of the mirror. Once you have your sticker in place this wedge actually gets installed inside the mirror and there is actually a little notch back here for this to fit into. It is kind of a loose fit but it has to move around a little bit and it has to sit in these two grooves right here. more
